Cocoa Brown Fake Tan Review!

Heyyy!

So today I am going to review the Cocoa Brown fake tan by Marissa Carter.

I have been using Fake Tan for around 3 years now and have tried A LOT of tans!

When looking for a tanner I want to find something that isn't too 'fake' looking but leaves me looking beautifully bronzed.  That's what we all want right?

So usually I alternate between Fake Bake/ St Moriz & Solait as I find they all leave a beautiful bronzed look which I want, however, with tanners they usually don't smell too good and after a while the tan appears patchy and sort of scaly even after following the exfoliating procedures, etc, NOT what you want!

So I recently the Cocoa Brown tan caught my eye when I was in Superdrug and as it was in a cute hot pink packaging so I thought I would give it a go!

So I purchased the tan for about £7.99 (I also believe that Primark now sell the tan which is probably a bit cheaper!)
I bought the 1 hour tan mousse
which claims to develop in just 1 hour, perfect for when your off out and have forgot to tan the night before! You can apply the tan then leave it either 1 hour for a light glow, 2 hours for a medium tan and 3 hours for a deeper colour.
Below is a picture of my leg before the tan and a picture of the tan after 1 hour of developing.
 Before                            After
As you can see above after just 1 hour it leaves a subtle golden glow, which I love and it is perfect for spring as it isn't too false looking.

I have now been using this tan for just over a week and I love it, it doesn't seem to go scaly like the other ones, thank god! It also doesnt smell to bad either, it claims to have a beautiful floral scent, I dont know about that as I personally think it smells like disinfectant, but it does smell 10 times better than previous tans I have tried.

I apply the tan with a regular tanning mitt from Superdrug's own range and the night before I apply the tan I exfoliate with an exfoliating scrub and a exfoliating glove also from Super drugs own range.  I then moisturize with any body lotion (At the moment I use dove) and apply the tan the next morning and it seems to last all week. PERFECT!

Have you used this tan before/ what is your favorite fake tan?

MAYBELLINE BABY SKIN PORE ERASER PRIMER - Love it or Leave it?

Hello Beauties!

I am back again!

Today I want to talk about primer. I usually use the L'Oreal Lumi Magique primer which is a light primer with a runny consistency. I would however say its more of an illuminator rather than a primer.

Recently I decided that I need to experience some different primers and I saw that Maybelline had brought out the new Baby Skin primer and the packaging looks so cute I needed to try it!
I am quite a big fan of Maybelline, however I had heard mixed reviews about this primer but decided I would need to try it for myself.
I finally purchased the primer and have been using it for about 2 weeks now and its the best primer I have ever used! However the only thing I would say its very silicone-y so maybe not the best for quite oily skin types.
My skin type is normal/dry so I find this primer perfect for my skin. Under my make up it gives a flawless pore-free finish.. What more could you possibly ask for for £7.99!?

Have you tried the Maybelline Baby Skin primer? What are your thoughts?

NEW Babyliss Big Hair Review #3

Hiii again!

I wanted to share with you all the amazing Babyliss New Big Hair! So I have been using the babyliss big hair collection for about 2 years now and I honestly cannot live without a babyliss big hair in my life! They make drying your hair such a faster process because all you have to do is hold the hot rotating brush against your hair whilst it blow dries it straight giving you volume! Amazing!
I am so lazy I cant be bothered blow drying my hair straight manually with a round brush and hair drier and if I use a hair drier alone my hair literally looks like a birds nest! So I will wash my hair at night times and follow using the big hair and with my hair being shoulder length it takes around 15 mins, then, when I wake up the next morning il just quickly go over it with the big hair again for about 5 mins then I am good to go! The new babyliss big hair has slightly improved from the last one and in my opinion dries your hair faster and gives you a smoother frizz free finish! What more can you ask for?

You can purchase the babyliss big hair from argos and boots and similar retailers for around £44.99 I purchased mine from http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/4440305.htm?CMPID=GS001&_$ja=cgid:11104161905|tsid:41370|cid:150287465|lid:55246888862|nw:g|crid:37764985385|rnd:16956918784669483504|dvc:m|adp:1o3

Have you tried the babyliss big hair?

Topshop Mambo Lace Up Boots #2

Hellooo!

So the other day I was in Topshop and saw the MAMBO Lace Up Boots in White for £34 and had to have them!
I love these boots they are perfect this season and are so versatile and for £34 they are a bargain! They are Polyurethane which is great as they are easy to wipe clean (in my opinion essential when buying white shoes!)

I am obsessed with the boot collection in Topshop at the moment and think my next purchase will be the 'ASTRIX Chunky Boots' (£42) to add to my boot collection!

I saw the 'canvas' version of these boots in New Look which are a slightly cheaper alternative at just £24.99 which were also lovely but knowing me I would get them filthy!
I wore my boots paired with some acid wash jeans from New Look which looked amazing for a casual day look.

You can find the boots on :

What are your thoughts?
